MANSFIELD POSTMAN KILLED AT THE WAR

News has been received this week of the death of Mr. T. I. O’Gorman in France through wounds. He was a postman in the employ of the Mansfield Post Office at the outbreak of the war, having been transferred a short time previously from Creswell. He was in the Lincolnshire Regiment, and acted as orderly to Captain Hollings, he having been employed previously at the mills. He was described as a smart gentlemanly man, and the Post Office staff deeply regretted his loss. He was to have been married to Miss Marston, of 56 Blenheim-terrace, Mansfield Woodhouse, who received the news of his death, which took place on October 28th.
