Mansfield Volunteer Worker 2011

Youth worker Geoff Sheldon was awarded the Emily Dawes Shield and Star as the Mansfield Volunteer worker 2011.  He was nominated for the award by Forest Town youth club members Amber and Jordan.  As Geoff was unable to receive the award personally at the event, MDC’s Community Engagement Officer, Sioned Dolan accepted it on his behalf and it was presented to Geoff by Amber and Jordan at a small reception held in the Youth Centre.  Jordan and Jack expressed their thanks and appreciation to Geoff on behalf of the Club for all the work he has done with them over the years.  Refreshments for the young people were provided by Youth Leader Clive Belford.
