Nativity Plays on the Childrens Ward 1964

A comment from a former member of staff at Harlow Wood is the ideal caption to go with these photographs –

”During my happy time there we had Nativity Plays with many of the children lying in their beds dressed up as different characters.”

  • Regarding my previous comment, my middle name is FRASER, not Draser !!!! HA.
Some great memories, seem to remember a boy called Robert Fuller – I think from Retford. I was from South Muskham, just outside Newark.
Our Mothers became good friends. The local farmer came in with a broken leg – Barry Staniforth – and ended up marrying Nurse Dakin from our ward!!!
