We surmise this letter/card was sent in WW1 to soldiers, sailors etc from the Mansfield area from the Mansfield Slate Club.
Does anyone know anything about this club, or have further information regarding the sending of the card/letter?

I do not have any info personally. Though I came across The Mansfield Wesleyan Slate Club in the Mansfield Reporter dated 04 Feb 1927 and again in the same newspaper dated 03 September 1937. Hope this helps.
