It was sad when he finished on Mansfield Market, but not many people use the Market now.

One of my favorite things growing up was to eat peas and cockles on Mansfield Market, and then as a teenager. Moved away in the late 70s to the USA. One of the things I look forward to the most when I come back to Mansfield. Coming back in May and cant wait for my peas and cockles

This is brilliant interview to listen to, full of history both past and present – not to mention mushy peas!
